Play-based therapy for children and teens in Raleigh, NC (and surrounding areas)

A safe space where your child/teen can feel seen, heard, and valued for exactly who they are.

You may be a parent/caregiver who feels like you have "tried everything and anything" to help support your child manage their "big feelings"... but nothing seems to be working.

You may be feeling
frustrated, worried, or hopeless... or maybe wishing for a magic wand to take your child's pain/worries away. As a parent, you only want the best for them and a safe space where they can thrive in all aspects of their life.

I'm here to help you and your child learn ways to navigate through those "big feelings" and strengthen your relationship with one another. Together, we can develop coping strategies and communication skills to promote a
deeper connection and understanding.

I’m so glad you’re here.

I am passionate about providing support to the entire family system and exploring ways to increase positive, genuine connection with one another throughout the journey of healing.

Hi, I’m Hannah

Counseling Services

  • I utilize a non-directive, child-centered approach to play that allows your child to learn ways to self-regulate their emotions, express their wants/needs, and process their world however they need to. Find out more information here.

  • Adolescents/teens face a variety of issues and often can struggle with feeling comfortable to share their more vulnerable thoughts/feelings/emotions with others. My goal when working with your adolescent/teen is to help them feel seen, heard, and valued. See more benefits of therapy for adolescents/teens here.

  • I am passionate about including the entire family system in the therapeutic process. This often looks like me having individual sessions with your child/teen and once per month checking in with any involved parents/caregivers (without your child/teen present) in order to discuss your child's progress with treatment, continued goals to work towards, and provide additional support to you from a parenting perspective.
