You love your child deeply - but lately, it feels like every day is a struggle.
You’ve tried to stay calm, be patient, and do all the “right” things… yet nothing seems to make things better.
Maybe you’ve caught yourself thinking things like:
“I love my child so much, but I’m exhausted and losing patience”
“It’s like I’m walking on eggshells to avoid another argument or power struggle”
“I’ve tried everything, but nothing seems to help”
“I just want our house to feel peaceful again”
If any of that feels familiar, you’re not alone. So many parents/caregivers in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and the greater Triangle area come to parent/caregiver support sessions feeling overwhelmed, worried, and unsure of how to help their child.
And here’s the truth: you’re not failing - your family just needs some support and new tools to help you reconnect.
You deserve support, too.
Let’s work together to help you feel more connected, confident, and capable in your parenting journey.
*Please note: Our practice requires at least one parent/caregiver to attend these consultation sessions at least once per month throughout your child or teen’s treatment. These sessions will be held without your child/teen present and can be scheduled either in the office or virtually.

Common Questions About Parent/Caregiver Consultations
-
Typically parent/caregiver consultations are scheduled after every 6-8 sessions that your child comes to therapy (ex: If your child attends therapy every week we will meet approximately every 6-8 weeks).
-
MOST times these sessions ARE covered under insurance. To ensure these sessions are covered under your specific insurance plan, we would recommend calling the 1-800 number on the back of your insurance card and speaking with a representative. (These sessions are considered outpatient behavioral health services and the CPT code billed to insurance is 90846).
-
Absolutely! We understand it can be more convenient at times to meet virtually for the parent/caregiver sessions. At the time of our virtual meeting, you will receive a HIPAA-compliant video call link through our electronic health record system called Simple Practice.
